Chat-Assisted Image Generation
You can ask Aethera to create Studio images directly from chat. Chat uses the same Studio model catalog and saves generated results to your Studio Gallery, but it adds an approval step so you can review the prompt, model, style, aspect ratio, and count before anything billable runs.
How the chat flow works

Section titled “Ask for an image”Write a creative request in chat, such as “Create a square product hero for a ceramic coffee mug.”
Aethera proposes settings
Section titled “Aethera proposes settings”Aethera chooses a suggested prompt, model, style, aspect ratio, and image count. This proposal is not a generation yet.
Review the picker
Section titled “Review the picker”An approval card opens in chat. You can edit the prompt, search models, choose a style, change the aspect ratio, and set the count.
Approve or deny
Section titled “Approve or deny”Approve to generate with the final settings. Deny if you do not want Aethera to spend credits or create the image.
Review the result
Section titled “Review the result”Approved single-image requests render the generated images inline in chat and save them to the Studio Gallery.
Single image vs. batches
Section titled “Single image vs. batches”Aethera uses two image flows:

| Two or more distinct images | Shows one batch approval card with each image listed as its own row. |
| Images for a Compose document | Shows a batch card and can insert approved results into the target document. |
What Aethera can do from chat
Section titled “What Aethera can do from chat”- Browse image models and choose a model by task, such as typography, logos, product photography, or fast drafts.
- Generate a single image request after you approve the picker.
- Generate image batches after one approval card.
- Edit or upscale an existing Studio image after approval.
- Import an attached chat image into Studio when you ask to edit or upscale it.
- Insert a Studio image into a Compose document after approval.
- Display multiple images in a clean image grid instead of flooding the chat with separate images.
Ask for a better result
Section titled “Ask for a better result”Useful chat requests include:
- “Make three homepage hero image concepts for this product launch.”
- “Generate a 9:16 poster in a cinematic style.”
- “Edit the last image so the background is warmer, but keep the subject the same.”
- “Upscale the image I attached.”
- “Create images for each section of this Compose document and insert them.”
Permissions
Section titled “Permissions”The default Studio image permissions are designed around risk:
- Browsing models, listing images, and creating the proposal are auto-approved.
- Generating, bulk generating, editing, upscaling, and inserting into Compose require approval.
- If a Studio image tool is blocked, Aethera will not run it until you change the setting in Tool Permissions.
