Personas
Personas are reusable AI voices. A persona can make Aethera respond like a legal reviewer, product strategist, research assistant, brand editor, or any other specialist you define.
Personas shape tone, style, and expertise. They do not lock Aethera into only answering questions from that persona’s domain.
Persona Areas
Section titled “Persona Areas”The Personas page changes slightly depending on the workspace you are using.

Shared personas are available to everyone in the organization. Private personas stay tied to your own account inside that workspace.
Create a Persona
Section titled “Create a Persona”Open Personas
Section titled “Open Personas”Select Personas from the app sidebar.
Choose the Persona Scope
Section titled “Choose the Persona Scope”In a personal workspace, click Create Persona under Your Personas.
In an organization workspace, click Create Persona under Private Personas for your own persona. If you are an administrator or data manager, you can also create one under Shared Personas for the whole organization.
Add a Title
Section titled “Add a Title”Give the persona a clear name, such as Contract Reviewer, Marketing Strategist, or Research Analyst.
Add a Description
Section titled “Add a Description”Use the optional description to explain when the persona should be used.
Write the Prompt
Section titled “Write the Prompt”The prompt is required. Describe how the persona should behave, what background it should assume, and how it should communicate.
Improve the Prompt
Section titled “Improve the Prompt”Use Make my prompt better! to have Aethera refine your draft. The prompt must be longer than 32 characters before the helper can run.
Save the Persona
Section titled “Save the Persona”Click Create Persona. The new persona appears in the current list and becomes available in persona pickers across the app.
Edit or Delete Personas
Section titled “Edit or Delete Personas”Use the row action menu on a persona to edit or delete it. You can also select multiple personas in the table and delete them in a batch.
Deleting a persona is permanent. If the persona has relevant AI training attached, that training is removed too.
Find Personas
Section titled “Find Personas”The persona table includes search, sorting, pagination, and row selection. Use Filter personas… to search by title, then open the row action menu to edit or remove the matching persona.
Use a Persona
Section titled “Use a Persona”Choose a persona anywhere you see the persona picker. The picker includes:
- Your personal or private personas
- Shared organization personas, when you are in an organization workspace
- Built-in Aethera personas
Good Persona Prompt Checklist
- State the role clearly.
- Describe the voice and level of detail you want.
- Mention the kind of work the persona should be best at.
- Add formatting preferences if they matter.
- Avoid secrets, credentials, or instructions that only apply to one temporary task.
