Uploading documents to Aethera is a straightforward process, allowing you to manage various types of content efficiently. This guide will walk you through the steps for uploading different types of documents, including YouTube videos and entire websites. Follow the sections below to learn more about each upload method.

Adding Files

Uploading documents to Aethera is simple and efficient. Follow these steps to add your files:

Click the “Upload Button

Located in the top left corner of the Aethera documents page, the “Upload" button opens a window where you can select files from your computer.

Drag & Drop Files

Select the files you want to upload from your computer and drag them onto the Upload dialog. Aethera will then automatically all dropped documents.

File Formats Supported

Aethera supports a variety of document formats, including PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Epubs, CSVs, JPEGs and PNGs.

Adding YouTube Videos

Aethera also supports importing YouTube Videos. Here’s how:

Click the “Upload" Button

In the dialog that opens, you will find a tab labeled "YouTube". Clicking it will display a prompt where you can paste the URL of the YouTube video.

Pasting the URL

Copy the URL of the YouTube video you wish to upload and paste it into the provided field. Aethera will automatically fetch and process the video.

Leaving the Title Field Empty

If you want Aethera to automatically fetch the YouTube video title, leave it empty. If not, you can choose your own title.

Adding URLs

Aethera allows you to upload entire websites by crawling them recursively. Follow these steps to add a website:

Click the “Upload" Button

In the dialog that opens, you will find a tab labeled "URL". Clicking it will display a prompt where you can paste the URL of the YouTube video.

Entering the URL

Enter the URL of the website you want Aethera to crawl. Aethera will recursively crawl and find all sublinks in the site, allowing you to import all information from a website with one URL. No need to add subpages, we'll find them for you!

Leaving the Title Field Empty

If you want Aethera to automatically fetch the YouTube video title, leave it empty. If not, you can choose your own title.

By following these steps, you can easily upload various types of documents, YouTube videos, and whole websites to Aethera, ensuring that all your important information is stored and accessible in one place.
