Exporting Documents
Compose can export a document as a Word file or PDF so you can share work outside Aethera.
Export Formats
Section titled “Export Formats”| Format | Use it for |

Word Document (.docx) | Sharing with collaborators who need to keep editing. |
PDF Document (.pdf) | Final review, client delivery, printing, or archive copies. |
Each export costs 2 credits.
Export a Document
Section titled “Export a Document”Open the Document
Section titled “Open the Document”Open the Compose document you want to export.
Open Export
Section titled “Open Export”Use the editor footer menu and choose Export.
Choose a Format
Section titled “Choose a Format”Select Word Document or PDF Document.
Confirm Export
Section titled “Confirm Export”Aethera checks your credit balance, generates the file, and downloads it to your device.
What Carries Over
Section titled “What Carries Over”Exports preserve the document structure and common formatting:
- Headings and paragraphs
- Bold and italic text
- Lists and tables
- Images embedded in the document
- General spacing and layout
Some complex browser-only formatting may render slightly differently in Word or PDF. Review the exported file before sending it externally.
Best Practices
Section titled “Best Practices”- Save and review the document before exporting.
- Use Word when another person needs to edit the file.
- Use PDF when layout stability matters more than editability.
- Open the downloaded file once to confirm formatting, images, and tables look right.
