Billing Management

Use Settings → Billing to manage your subscription. Use Settings → Usage to inspect balances, credit renewals, and transaction history.

Select Settings from the sidebar.

Choose Billing from the settings navigation.

The Billing page shows your current plan, status, price, renewal or end date, and plan actions.

StateMeaning
FreeNo active paid subscription is attached to the current workspace.
ActiveThe current paid plan is active.
CancellingThe subscription is scheduled to end at the end of the current billing cycle.
DowngradingA lower plan is scheduled to take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

If you are in an organization workspace and are not an administrator, Billing shows an admin-access message instead of subscription controls.

Click Manage plan or Upgrade plan to compare available plans and choose monthly or yearly billing.

Plan changes depend on the direction of the change:

  • Upgrades can take effect immediately and may charge the payment method on file.
  • Downgrades are scheduled for the end of the current billing cycle.
  • Cancellation keeps paid access active until the end of the current billing cycle.

Paid subscriptions show Update payment on the Billing page. Use it to update the payment method for the current subscription.

If a payment update redirects you to checkout, complete the Stripe flow and return to Aethera after confirmation.

For an active paid plan, click Cancel plan to schedule cancellation at the end of the current billing cycle. Aethera asks for confirmation and shows the date your paid access will continue through.

If a plan is already scheduled for cancellation, the Billing page shows Keep plan. Use it to remove the scheduled cancellation.

If you scheduled a downgrade, Billing shows Cancel downgrade. Use it before the current billing period ends if you want to stay on the current plan.

Organization billing is managed from the active organization workspace.

  • Administrators can view and manage subscriptions.
  • Non-admin members see an Admin Access Required message.
  • Organization management controls appear below the billing card when you have access.

The Billing page may briefly show Loading subscription details… while Aethera hydrates workspace and subscription data.

If it does not resolve:

  • Refresh the page.
  • Confirm you are in the correct personal or organization workspace.
  • If you are in an organization workspace, ask an administrator to check billing.
  • Use Settings → Usage to confirm your current plan and credit renewal details while billing data loads.
