AI Writer

The AI Writer feature in Compose allows you to generate high-quality text content using artificial intelligence. Whether you need help starting a paragraph, expanding on ideas, or creating entirely new sections, AI Writer seamlessly integrates into your writing workflow.

How AI Writer Works

AI Writer can be accessed through multiple methods within the Compose editor:

  • Slash Commands: Type / followed by “AI Writer” to generate new content
  • Text Selection: Highlight existing text and use the bubble toolbar for AI enhancements
  • Content Generation: Create content from scratch based on your prompts

AI Writer leverages your tagged documents and knowledge base to provide contextually relevant content that aligns with your existing information.

Using AI Writer with Slash Commands

Access the Slash Menu

Type / anywhere in your document to open the slash command menu.

Select AI Writer

Look for the AI Writer option in the menu (marked with a sparkle icon) and click on it.

Enter Your Prompt

Describe what you want the AI to write. Be specific about the content type, tone, and any key points to include.

Review and Insert

The AI will generate content based on your prompt. Review it and click “Insert” to add it to your document.

Text Enhancement Features

When you select existing text in your document, a bubble toolbar appears with powerful AI enhancement options:

  • Improve Writing: Enhances clarity, flow, and overall quality
  • Fix Spelling & Grammar: Corrects errors and improves syntax
  • Paraphrase: Rewrites content while maintaining the original meaning
  • Change Tone: Adjusts the writing style (Professional, Casual, Academic, Creative, etc.)
  • Humanize: Makes AI-generated text sound more natural and human-like
  • Summarize: Condenses longer text into key points
  • Make Longer: Expands on existing content with additional details
  • Simplify: Makes complex content easier to understand
  • Translate: Converts text to different languages

Using Text Enhancement

Select Text

Highlight any portion of text in your document that you want to enhance.

Choose Enhancement Type

Click on the desired enhancement option from the bubble toolbar that appears.

Review Changes

The AI will process your text and show you the enhanced version.

Apply or Discard

Accept the changes by clicking “Insert” or discard them if you prefer the original.
